CNY Urban Renovations LLC is seeking an experienced and dedicated CDL Class B Instructor to join our training team in Syracuse, NY. As a CDL Instructor, you will be responsible for training students in classroom settings, on-site yard maneuvers, and on-road driving to prepare them for their CDL Class B license. You will play a key role in shaping confident, safe, and skilled drivers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom instruction on ELDT theory, safety, and driving regulations
• Instruct students in yard maneuvers and behind-the-wheel training
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal training requirements
• Maintain training logs and student records
• Support students throughout the CDL licensing process
• Ensure use of equipment in a safe and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class B license (Class A is a plus)

• Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience

• Previous instructor or training experience preferred (not required)

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Patience and ability to teach individuals from diverse backgrounds

• Clean driving record

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
